About this event
Get ready for one of the best driver’s roads in Southern California. This tour begins in Frazier Park & heads west into big-sky mountain scenery before dropping us onto legendary California Highway 33, an iconic ribbon of pavement known for its sweeping corners, elevation changes & remote Los Padres National Forest views.
Highway 33 isn’t just a route — it’s a destination. A large section of SR-33 near Ojai is officially designated the Jacinto Reyes National Scenic Byway, celebrated for its solitude, rugged backcountry landscapes & unforgettable mountain driving.
🥜 Mid-route stop: Santa Barbara Pistachio Company
We’ll make a fun stop at the Santa Barbara Pistachio Company Farm & Store (right on Hwy 33) for a break, snacks & the chance to grab some legendary pistachio treats before continuing the journey.
From there, we’ll continue southbound on Hwy 33, carving our way through the mountains & eventually descending into the Ojai Valley — the kind of finish that makes you want to turn around and run the route again.
🍽️ Post-Drive Dinner in Ojai
After carving through some of the best backroads in our region, we’ll wrap up the day with a relaxed group dinner at Home Kitchen of Ojai.
We’ll have a private dining experience waiting for us, giving everyone a chance to unwind, connect, and relive the drive together.
Dinner will feature a crowd-pleasing menu including:
Lemon chicken
Tri-tip
Fresh green salad
Mashed potatoes
Grilled vegetables
Seasonal fruit
Soft drinks
The meal will be served in a casual, self-serve format, making it easy to grab a plate and enjoy the evening at your own pace.
This is the perfect way to close out the drive — good food, great company & a laid-back Ojai setting.
